Some of you may be asking yourself... why is this girl posting photos of a man in a very flamboyant pink tutu. Well folks, this is what I call a real love story.
Bob Carey is an (uber creative) self-portrait photographer. Nine years ago, his loving wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. She beat it, only to have it recur in 2006. As Bob watched his wife go through several intense treatments and he was amazed by her strength and spirit. The cancer helped remind them to never take life for granted, and if anything, we should laugh about it. Enter the tutu. Bob uses his hilarious photos to not only raise awareness and money for a breast cancer cure, but as subtle reminders... when life throws you a curveball, put on a tutu. Bob and his wife have inspired hundreds (if not thousands) of women and families to fight for lives.
Bob's love for his wife is so inspiring. Heck, the man wore a tutu in the middle of Times Square!
It reminds me how true love should be..
